I'm assuming you mean 3D graphical games.

I read that some people have an effect like that while playing Half Life 2. Might want to read into that.

From memory, they suggest glasses and a good lighting environment.

I think it's because of the texture and effects. Also very few 3d games look real and most of the games are illusionary. It makes you bit uncomfortable.

Well I think it might be an eye problem on your part. Your eye might not able to tolerate watching this kind of games and makes your eyes disorientated and confused thus feeling nauseated by just watching or playing it. I think you consult an eye doctor to see if it is indeed a problem for you.

If you start the feel that, you should probably go outside or drink some water.

Do you wear glasses? Also you can reduce the color from 64 bit to 34 on your computer. Also reducing the resolution would help too.

getting dizzy is all in the eyes. same as comparing a CRT with an LCD, flickering which is a normal occurence in CRT make your eyes adjust evry now and then.3D games might make your eyes strain more with the movements. better see a doctor to see if you have eye problems.

It's a form of motion sickness. I heard about it on Good Game recently. My aunt suffers from it as well.

It occurs because your eyes see movement, but your body isn't moving. Your brain becomes confused and you can get dizzy.

Strangely enough, the best solution to it is to play more games.

at first I thought you meant 3d games as in wearing 3d goggles, that would be craazy

Consider yourself lucky as you won't get hooked on some timewasing game, im so bad at that =[

but yeah, somebody guessed motion sickness up there and that sounds quite like it. Do you feel sick in the car sometimes?

I do not know why, since you think this 3d game make you uncomfortable, then give up. You can put the time into something more meaningful. Hehe

Because we concentrate a lot on differents aspects in these games we feel dizzy..
we have to relax a bit while playing 3 D games

The effect you're feeling may be due to a lack of good lighting. The problem could also possibly be helped while wearing glasses. Does your family have a history of bad eye sight?

I am not sure, maybe you got eye issues.
