Default Do you always vote during election? - 11-26-2009, 08:54 PM

I failed to register here in manila city hall last registration date. So on the coming elections i will not be able to vote. Too bad as this is the first ever automatic election we will ever have in our election. we had always manual counting of votes which took a week or more before the counting is over and most of the times there were lots of cheating and lots of violence because they can just easily snatch the ballot boxes from poll precint . now we are hoping that with automatic election using this machine or computer we don't have any more cheating. hopefully they can't cheat any more .

So have you voted last time.

If I was old enough, I would vote. If we're given the right, we should use it.

Voting is compulsory here, though I've yet to register. I'd better hop onto it, in case they spring an election on me. D: (Don't want to get fined, heh.)

For Presidential elections in America - never if I believe both candidates are evil. Why should one settle for a lesser-evil to lead one's country?

I'm not able to vote yet, I'm not old enough. But I do not want to vote, I believe 80% of the politics are corrupts.

So you don't won't to help influence the 20% which aren't corrupt?

I am proud to say that I have used my rights since I was able to vote. I remember I started voting when I was still 18 years old and everytime there is a national and local election I would see to it that i cast my vote everytime. I happen to belong to a peaceful community so there is almost no election violence I have experience or witness in my life. As to cheating I guess there will come a time that these automated election will get hacked and be cheated on but I guess this time this will eliminate the cheating made during manual counting of votes. As to the violence I think it will still happen if politicians would still use guns to create problems in their areas.

in our country elections was never peaceful. there are always place where there will be killings prior to actual elections itself and on the day of election itself. and now with manual election which was delayed many elections already finally pushed through.

i do not care much about who ever politician is in place.i leave the decision amking to the older ones.i do not even know politicians well. older people even make mistakes in choosing who is the right one, what more can they expect of me. so i do not vote heartily. i only voted once.

I try to vote where I can. I only now vote for the party with the Greenest Agenda, even if it is a wasted vote.

Last time, I wasn't able to vote, my family moved to another city and forgot to notify the city registrar, but this coming election I'll be able to vote again and will definitely participate.
