It helps cures cancer, but what if you use it to cure cancer and you get hooked, it is a bit better then tobacco.

If you got hooked, as in you enjoyed in, you would probably open your eyes and realize marijuana isn't the demon it's made out to be.

I think marijuana should be legal for personal use, because not much matters there. However, I do think it should still be illegal to sell and distribute it. It's a drug that needs to be removed from society. It certainly has a collapsing effect on the consciousness of its users, as exemplified in several posts in this thread. Those of you who defend pot use and preach all these positive aspects of it, you need to hear exactly what it is you're defending. Here you go:

You can't seriously say that the guy in that video is not in an unhealthy place mentally. The truth is that that cop is out of touch with reality and has lost his mind. You accuse these people who discourage pot use of being ignorant, but when you defend it what does that make you? Now, ignoring any notion that ever said pot causes physical harm and is addictive, this video alone should still be enough to thoroughly convince anyone to avoid it.

Where is the proof of this? Please, show me it. Alcohol certainly causes more damage than marijuana will, why do we accept this in our society? Clearly it will never be illegal, as the demand is there, and people will go out of their way to get it.. creating crime.. same thing happens with marijuana, although marijuana is a lot more safer than liquor, in the short-term and long-term. Using your logic.. we should outlaw bridges, people jump of those. We should outlaw work, people get stressed and end up having heart attacks.. make junk food illegal, you know, it does create obesity and deaths.. wait, deaths? marijuana is yet to kill somebody..

As does a lot of thing's we use in our daily lives. Liquor, energy drinks, caffeine, ect ect.. You go drinking some night.. you're completely out of it, as it is a depressant that just poisons you and destroys the body. Marijuana obviously effects you.. if it didn't effect you, there would be no reason to smoke it.. casually or medically. Show me where somebody has got really stoned, went home and beat their kids and wives because of it? It doesn't happen.. somebody smokes pot, they sit down and eat, possibly go to sleep or create something cool. lol

He ate "magic brownies" which is supposedly a completely different high than smoking marijuana. If you didn't know what you took, and had never been under the influence of marijuana, you would be really scared when your body felt like it was in a dream-like state.. He has lost his mind because he was probably stoned out of his mind, clearly.. whats your point?

I accuse people like you of being ignorant. You look at the negatives, and dont weigh in the positives.. Marijuana is the safest drug, nobody is dieing, and it puts you in a much safer state than alcohol use.. so, tell me.. how should a video of some dude tripping on marijuana brownies justify that it should stay illegal?
